How Vibrant Planet data can be used for implementation

After you’ve built a scenario, the final step is to export your data to be used to seek funding, create CWPPs, draft environmental analysis, and more. The export includes several helpful files that you can use to get ready for your project. A data dictionary, called the Stewardship Atlas, is available in Appendix B of the Product Guide.

What’s included in my download?

  1. A shapefile of your project(s) for use in GIS platforms such as ArcGIS (complete with all associated attributes so you can do a deep dive into the administrative, vegetation, landscape, treatment logistics, and other data points to help you understand every detail of the project)
  2. A spreadsheet (csv) version of the project attributes also available in the shapefile itself
  3. A copy of the Stewardship Atlas, a data dictionary that provides definitions of attributes in the shapefile
  4. A spreadsheet (csv) of settings used to generate your specific project such as the project name, total number of projects, and weighted Objective settings
